    I have a AverMedia TV Studio Card but can't play the avi files it captures in anything other than the AverMedia VCR software. Is there a codec available that will allow me to play it in Windows Media Player. (It will currently play only the sound from the avi capture)

    i have the same card and use the huffy codec, btw how does the quality look likr on your card, i am not impressed with the quality, , but i am tweaking it to get the best picture, but for me the jury is still out
