I have just put in a Avermedia A316 Mini PCI-E Analog Digital DVB-T TV Card into my HP HDX X18T 1200 CTO laptop (I am running Windows 7 64-bit) and it works fine in Windows Media Center (WMC). But when I try to run the Avermedia TV software or the HP smart TV software it says that no tv card device is detected.

I want to use another program other than WMC so that I can record tv in better quality and with more flexibility.

Any help would be great.
