When I usually do conversion to .mpg I have to extract the audio first and save to .wav with virtualdub as described in the http://www.vcdhelp.com/divxtovcd.htm guide, but I heard that some people can choose the same divx .avi file as their VIDEO and AUDIO source. Is it possible and if it is, how?

Yes, you basicly can do that, just load the same file for both (usually it's being done automaticly), but seperating the audio into a WAV file will in most cases boost up the speed of encoding.
And it also depends on the encoding type of the Audio in the DivX file itself!Email me for faster replies!
