How can I see and access files or archives that are not visible usually?
Thanks for the help.

In Win7, it's Organize -> Folder and Search Options -> View. While you're there disable the Hide Extensions For Known File Types option. And disable Hide Protected Operating System Files -- if you want to see them. There are still some files that will be invisible, those in the System Volume Information folder.
