A magical change in frame rate??????

right this is my prob i am using the guide DVD to high quality SVCD conversion guide when i put in the frame rate i choose 25fps for pal thats fine when cce is finished encoding the video i use pulldown thats also fine i get a nice little movie but when i attempt to burn the mpeg using nero its saying that i have encoded the file with frame rate of 29.9fps what the hell is goin on here? just to double check my self i put the frame rate to 23.3fps then used the pulldown and it still gave me 29.9fps! i just dont understand why it keeps changing the frame rate.

is there anyways round using pulldown program after encoding in cce? if not give me some suggestions i am frustrated here.

what is 3:2 pulldown?
You want PAL, so do not use pulldown.exe.

but when the file is encoded through cce its saved as .MPV and that cannot be multiplexed with tmpgenc. when i use pulldown it changes the file extention to .M2V do you think that i might get away with changing the file extention manually?

truman ive done a little reading on that 3:2 pulldown. and i found that its only for making NTSC videos. sorry for the waste of time mibby i should do a little reasearch my self next time before asking for help.
