I'm not sure, offhand, about MPC, but in MPCHC, you can go into the options, click on the External Filters header in the left pane, and manage which external filters (such as ffdshow) you want to use, not use, block, etc.
In ffdshow (note that the version I have installed hasn't been updated in at least a few months, so things may have changed), you can open (Start Menu) > ffdshow > Video decoder configuration, click on DirectShow Control in the left-hand pane, and add MPC (by its .EXE filename) to the "Don't use ffdshow in:" exception list, making sure the option is enabled.If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
