  1. For years I have been using mpc to play all my videos. and with ffdshow its awesome I can have all videos play in the same size. But recently I thought I would try the home cinema version (64 bit for vista).

But no matter what I do I can not get the newer version to use FFDShow filters. I have shark007 codecs installed for vista.

Have you installed the 64-bit version of ffdshow? There should be a link to it on the VideoHelp Tools page for ffdshow.

  5. PUPDATE AGAIN... I uninstalled everything and reinstalled making sure mpc home cinema and ffdshow were the 64 bit versions... I think there was/is an issue with the shark007 codecs the interface is the 64 bit version but not all the codec are... I can no longer access ffdshow since making sure the 64 bit version was installed. All seems to be working however as long as I do not go through the shark007 thing. Yet it does say on the mpc home page that it is supposed to be compatable with it. So any help anyone can give in getting everything working in tandom would be good. Otherwise I guess I will just have to leave the shark007 codec thing out for now as I do not seem to need it at the moment.
