    I'm hoping you guys will be able to help, I'm trying to go from my PC (Nvidia GeForce 9800 GT) to a analog component TV via a VGA to component cable. after some tweaking in Nvidia control panel I get the image below. any ideas on how to get this to work properly?

    A cable cannot convert RGB to component video. Those cables are meant for specific devices that use a VGA DE-15 connector to transmit component video. You're graphics card is not one of those devices. You need an active electronic device, a scan converter.
