Hello, I have a problem with a .flv file I downloaded some time ago (not available anymore online). It's nearly 1GB large, should be around an hour in length, but only plays for 29 seconds in the beginning. MPC displays 28:11 as its duration, but can't seek beyond those first 29 secs.
The video file FLV Extract outputs is a ~7mb .264
Is there anything that can be done to repair this FLV file? Rebuilding it with avidemux crashes the program...

    Thank you!

You could try remux with yamb or mymp4boxgui(open flv and make a mp4) or reconvert to some other format with xmedia recode, handbrake, etc.

But I guess it will fail also. You coould then try video repair tool or www.mp4repair.org. But they aren't free.
