  1. Hi there,

hope someone can help if not with a complete answer at least get my wooly thoughts into line.
I have access to a trusted seedbox from which I have ftp'd various 3D ISO's and burnt these images to http://www.play-japan.com/products/TDK-BD%252dR-DL-50GB-4x--Blu%252dray-10-Disks-Repacked.html and http://www.smartimports.net/products/TDK-BD%252dR-DL-4x-50GB-20%252dpack-%28Spindle%29...ray-Discs.html TDK DL BD -R discs using both ImgBurn & Power2Go these appear to load in my Samsung BD6900 but then reach a point a few seconds in where all I get is a blank screen and I'm unable to navigate to a menu or play the disc apart from 2 which with random key presses I got to play once but I'm unable to do so again.
If however I d/l the Rar's(for other movies) and re-assemble the ISO's then these play with no problems.
So my complete novice question is could there be something in how these source ISO's have been constructed which is somehow no good for recording/playback from these BD -R discs or am I on the wrong track altogether?

    Thanks in advance
    Bill

edit to add: forgot to mention when I started getting coasters I went and bought a verbatim 50GB DL BD -RE and these offending ISO's play with no problem on this disc

Let me just say there is nothing about the structure of a correctly-formed BD3D (and conseqently, a correctly-formed ISO of that) that precludes burning and playing on good BD-R or BD-RE media with a player that fully supports burned media. Which would lead me to believe that you either have bad media (probably) or a bad ISO/structure, or possibly a not-completely-compliant or up-to-date player.

Let me also say that, if you're talking about "seedbox" and "ftp", unless you own the titles in question (or they're licensed to you, or they're Public domain or Opensource or something), you're talking about WAREZ and that's a NO NO.
