Hi, I am relatively newish to the desktop video environment and have not yet been successful in burning my first VCD.

I have a Pinnacle DV500plus, using Premeire 6 and all the other software you get in the pack. I find Impression tricky to use and also unreliable. The major problem I have is using Ulead DVD movie factoy, when I try to author a VCD from an .avi file captured in premiere, it completes the encoding and then crashes the application. The mpeg that is produced seems to be corrupt, further more I can no longer play mpegs on my machine, I keep getting application errors.

I am using Win2K with SP2. Please help this is causing me major problems. Any suggestions would be most welcome.
