Hi
Is they any software that can fix voice sync problems.
Have a movie that has be copied from HDTV. Problem is that halfway through the movie the voices go out of sync. Is there any way to fix this?
Thanks for any advice.

If it happens at a certain point then it can be trickier to fix. You will have to split the file at the point the problem occurs, fix the part that is broken, then join the two parts together again. How and with which tool depends on what sort of video it is. Post a mediainfo tree/text view and I can offer more details on how.

If it were me, I would load the file into AVI Demux, and with audio and video in Copy mode, split the file into two parts at the point the audio breaks. In AVI Demux that means loading the file, setting an in point at the frame before the break and an out point at the end of the file, hitting delete, then saving the result as Part1.mkv. Load the file again, set the in point at the start of the file, and the out point at one frame before the break, and again hit delete. Save this as Part2.mkv
Part 2 should be the out of sync part. Tick the box marked Shift, and change the shift amount until the audio plays in sync (note : you can use negative numbers to make the audio start sooner than the video). Once you have the audio in sync, save this as Part2fixed.mkv
You can then load part 1, append part 2 fixed, then save a new file that will hopefully be in sync all the say through.
This will only work if the audio is out of sync by a constant amount all the way through.
Personally though, I would just re-rip it and start again.Read my blog here.
