    When I try to encode a window appears telling me to locate "progress.app".
    What does this mean?

    Progress.app is an application inside ffmpegX. If ffmpegX asks to locate it, just point it to ffmpegX itself. You should only have to do this once.

    Not sure why only some users get this message.

    It has come up on this forum a few times in the past: (1), (2), (3), (4), (5), (6), (7), (8), (9), (10), (11), (12)
