  1. I keep getting this message once I try to encode:

"To comply with copyright laws, DVD device input is not allowed. Please select a file or a non-encrypted VIDEO_TS folder from your hard disk."

Can someone explain to me what this means and how to get around it? I'm trying to convert a VIDEO_TS folder so I don't understand.

You can't encode a encrypted/copyrighted DVD. You need to decrypt it first. If it isn't a encrypted DVD/VIDEO_TS folder, then I would try some different software.

What are you trying to convert it to? Divx/Xvid?

    And welcome to our forums.

--- Your input file or folder should not be on a DVD disc.
