    Hey guys,

I'm not sure where to post this, so correct me if I'm wrong.

My problem is that I'm trying to put a 1920x1080 23.976fps h264 video in that m2ts format (Using tsMuxeR) so I can edit it in Sony Vegas. It works fine, there seems to be no problems, I can edit it fine in Sony Vegas, and there seems to be no playback problem.

My only worry is that I tried to keep close to the original source by picking 24fps as framerate and when it comes to the output it doubles to 48fps. Is this a problem, why does it do this? I tried the other ones and they all double except for 30000/1001 gives me 59.940fps and 24000/1001 gives me around 487000fps (woah! haha).

Is there a fix? Or is the 48fps not a problem as long as I render back to the original source (23.976) when I'm done editing in Sony Vegas? I want to keep the best quality I can.

  3. Maybe something wrong with your source ?

Is it native progressive e.g. from blu-ray , or telecined 24p from a camcorder ?

My source was in an mkv. Which I used MKVtoolnix to extract only the video from, which is h264 format. I watched it entirely before putting it to m2ts so it's not corrupted. It's a download.

Here's some more detailed info on it

    - 1080p, Bluray, x264, DTS
    - 1920x1080, 23.976fps, 7500kbps

Not sure if that helps any, that all the info I know.
