  2. For best picture quality use your display's native resolution.

If an application doesn't fit at that resolution you're screwed.

    Well thanks !

All the panes display correctly except the Project settings pane. That size appears to be preset and all the items in the pane are not visible (The pane needs to have the vertical size increased to display all the menu options)

However No problem really....I can change them individually....it was just a bug I found for fixing if others have same problem...if not c'est la vie

My display is already at the native format of course.

  4. And how is anyone supposed to know what program you're talking about?

Some graphics cards have the ability to set a Desktop size larger than the monitor. You then get a window that pans over the entire Desktop, usually following the mouse pointer. For example you could set the Desktop to 1920x1080 and leave the monitor at 1440x900.

Well I thought I was on the forum for Newbies at "DVD slideshow GUI" so didn't think I needed to mention that.

I am well aware that some graphics cards allow that function but this one doesn't or I would have.

My apologies.....I am a newbie to this software but a MVP and originally started with computers at Cambridge in 1956, ran a Nuke submarine for 8 years and beta tested DOS3 when Bill G was still personally in touch with his beta testers. If I could fix the problem without re-coding I certainly would.

Thanks....I'm outta here... ego's and insecurities are on display apparently

Apologies again to all........thanks to the developers for an excellent app

  6. Sounds like there is a problem with your DPI setting. Take a look at this:
    https://forum.videohelp.com/threads/322102-DVD-slideshow-GUI-v0-9-3-6-resiz-window?p=19...=1#post1995226

I hope this solves your problem.

BTW. Videohelp is kindly hosting DVD slideshow GUI and since I(tin2tin - the developer of DSG) usually hang around the Videohelp forum, this is a good place to post about DVD slideshow GUI, however the forums are about all sorts of video work and software.

You're in Newbie/General Discussion so the question was relevant.

Maybe, but whose egos and insecurities are we talking about?
