AVCHD DVD and PS3

Hi,
I have to create DVD AVCHD playable on PS3.
I do the authoring of my HD content with encore DVD and I obtain a BD.
If the BD is smaller than 8.5 Gb may I convert it in a DVD AVCHD playable on PS3 without transcoding but only modifiing some system files?

PLEASE HELP.
I don't know another way to see my HD movies edited with premiere on a DISC with menus as a DVD or a BD

Encore CS4 won't allow AVCHD/BD content on DVD5/9 media, only BD25/50.

You can use MultiAVCHD to create the folder structure, but will lose your authored menus (you can make simple ones with it, but can't keep exisiting ones)

Now I'have another problem.
I have a Canon AVCHD videocamera and an iMac
To edit this AVCHD files i use Final cut pro that transform .mts in mov with apple pro res 442 and PCM (video and audio) codec.
Once edited the movie I transcode in H264 with encore DVD or DVD architect (when i use windows).
I make the procedure to see the AVCHD DVD on PS3 but the audio and the video are out of synch.
Any suggestions?
