I've moved from Premier 2.0 to CS4
Just to let you know, I'm using PAL so the frame rate is 25.
The image size is the standard 720 x 576
I'm trying to export it to the best quality possible. I've tried exporting it using both Uncompressed AVI and Quicktime 10bit (blackmagic).
Now, after exporting it, the quality doesn't seem to be what I expected. So I tried exporting it on the older version of Premier 2.0. It clearly
showed that the export quality was a lot more crisp and sharper. Am I doing something wrong? Or is there a problem with Media Encoder?
Someone give me the steps or options I should use to get the best quality. I want to continue using CS4 because I find it a waste working
backwards than forwards. I've tried many times with different settings on CS4 and still the quality is not as crisp. HELP please

What is your source format, project format and how are you monitoring the result?

Compare the Mediainfo for both of your exported files.
What are exporting from 2.0 in? Uncompressed AVI as well ? I've never had any issues with differing exports and i've been moving through the latest Premieres for a good number of years now, but if you do as edDV says and let us know your source format and how you are determining the difference maybe we'll have some ideas.
