I'm needing a one-time-use software for an ASF->DVD conversion. The two freewares in the tools section are DVD-Flick & FAVC. I'm just a bit leery at using DVD-Flick due to some of the listed comments and as for FAVC, well, I was hoping to install as few as possible softwares (requires AVIsynth) considering I'm on a relatively fresh install on Win7 and can't see a need for doing this type of conversion in the foreseeable future.
Should I just bite the bullet and choose one of the above listed or do any of the trialware versions allow for at least a one-time-use uncrippled conversion while providing for a clean uninstall after use? I know I'm being petty but I'd hate to "bloat" something that MS seems to have finally done right.
Cheers!
