Before you do something silly to the video, are you sure the video is the problem.

I would start by checking the playback in a different player. Media Player Classic, VLC or The KM Player are all good options. Media Player Classic (MPC) is the least intrusive.

You may find your problem lies elsewhere.

If the problem is with the video itself then you will have to provide a lot more detail to get a useful answer. Start with posting a MediaInfo Tree output to tell us exactly what you have.

Yes, i have tried with any video player and the video is playing like 3second pr sec .My video is mpeg2 and every time i try to converted it to another format the video saved in high speed and leaving one third of time. That file is ripped form a vcd and it play fine on a dvd player. But it seem to be screw up when i try to copy to pc.I think a video speed reducing software might fix the problem but i don't know one.

Something is screwy with the file. The bitrate is way too high for VCD and the resolution is wrong for VCD. I suspect that the ripping process has damaged the file, and there will be little you can do to fix it other than re-rip it. It thinks is has a framerate of 25 fps, which is PAL standard, however the resolution is neither PAL nor NTSC (or in fact VCD at all).

    How was this ripped ?

  6. Yeah, I'd suspect an improper conversion from DAT to MPG.
But it seem to be screw up when i try to copy to pc.
What did you do, just rename the DAT file as MPG? My suggestion is to start over and put it on the hard drive correctly. I use the old free version of VCDEasy.
    My video is mpeg2
Not if it's VCD, it's not.
I think a video speed reducing software might fix the problem
I don't. I think starting over and doing it right will fix the problem.

No,what i mean is that i downloaded this video file form internet in flv format and converterd into vcd format by using "quickmediaconverter" and them i write the file into a empty vcd which is seam to be reading correctly in home dvd player .But when i try to copy back from that disk into pc the video play faster then the sound .Same happen when i put it into my mp4 player.I've tried with video converter like any video converter or next video converter to convert it to avi or any other format but it doesn't works and instead the video become smaller about one third of original size (got the whole clip but it play faster ).Since the original file form internet is deleted this file is only one i got and no more back up file.Is there any way to fix it.

Either redownload the original FLV, or use, say, VCDGear to extract the MPEG(s) from the .dat file(s) on the VCD.

Another way to properly extract the mpg is use isobuster and load the dat file and choose extract but filter only m2f2 mpeg frames.

  11. Open your video in VirtualDubMod. Go to Video -> Frame Rate... In the Source Rate Adjustment field enter whatever frame rate you need to get the audio and video in sync. In the Frame Rate Conversion field enter the desired output frame rate. Save or frame serve.
