    hi!

In my GfD DVD-project I use Graphic-Buttons type:

then after inserting a movie there is ofcourse no string insert and the movie-button gets empty...instead of text I use Gifmask:

as you can see I'm using an apple I've created before in PhotoSHop (needed to make it transparent GIF)...I've also selected the "highlight only" button because I want the user to choose his movies on my menu by selecting it with the apple (it's red when highlighted, green when activeted and usual not shown)

now the problem is that after the creation of my DVD my buttons aren't shown at all...I can select them (I know exactly where they are) but I can't see them :S

what could possibly be the problem??

    thankfull for answers as usual

It may be a problem with the software DVD player you are using. In my case, button highlights show when I use PowerDVD, but Windows Media Player doesn't display them at all.

    thanks for answering!

yes the menu preview does look just like I want it to look (the buttons are visible)

media player classic: I can not see my buttons but I see the intro of my project

VLC media player: I can not see the intro but I can see the buttons right!

Windows Media Player: shows the buttons and intro!!! don't know why you couldn't see them usually_quiet

PowerDVD: open both right as well

then my project is right I think ...but still it's weird that media player calssic doesn't show my buttons..it has always done that before :O

    cheers and thanks!

I have seen Windows Media Player display button highlights correctly on other computers, but never on mine. I don't know exactly why it doesn't, and it's not worth the effort to find out, since PowerDVD allows me to see them for test purposes. It must be something caused by the combination of hardware and software installed on my system. The point is, that things like this do happen.
