Alright so i've got a video that when played back produced no audio (which i wanted to extract, the video is near useless), and checking it with MediaInfo gave me the following info:

    Audio
    Format : RT29
    Codec ID : 75
    Codec ID/Info : Voxware RT29 (MetaSound)
Description of the codec : Voxware MetaSound - AC24V1 24.0 kbps, 22 kHz, Mono
    Duration : 1h 1mn
    Bit rate : 24.0 Kbps
    Channel(s) : 1 channel
    Sampling rate : 22.05 KHz

Now i'd never heard of this codec, but checking online i found the decoder for it, and i can now hear the audio on the video. However, since i've no idea what container or extension this format would have, i have no idea how to go about extracting the raw audio.

I could just use something to convert it on the fly to WAV or MP3, but i'd prefer to be able to extract the raw mono file and work with that in an audio program.

So, does anyone know if it would be possible with any program?
    Thanks

Any audio editing program is going to have to decode and work with an uncompressed copy in memory, so you might as well pre-convert it to Mono LPCM wav (although I'd SRC it to 44.1kHz or 48kHz--depending upon intended outcome--for easier mixing workflow).
