    I'm thinking of buying the above mentioned fan to mount above the CPU and heatsink and was hoping some members have this fan mounted above the CPU and can advise how it is performing.

    Unknown to me but it is solid copper and the fan upon it is 60mm. I intend to use an 80-60mm reduction adaptor and mount the 80mm fan mentioned on top, I'm reasonably sure there will be members using that fan and just wanted some input about its performance.

    Then you should post at computer forums like extremesystems and overclockers and overclock.net. They have cooling forums that could probably answer you question regarding that fan.
