I have the ati tv wonder pro, I can get the audio to come through if i plug my speakers directly into the audio plug on the tv tuner card, but when I record stuff the audio is non existent, I just get this loud pulsating noise. When I take an audio cable and put one end in the tv tuner card and the other in the audio in port on my sound card and the speakers plugged into the audio out port on the sound card I dont get any sound at all, I have also put the audio cable from the tv tuner in the audio out as well and the speakers in the audio in as well, though I do know thats wrong, I did it any way as a troublehooting measure. I dont see any place within the programs settings to adjust the audio options, not that I would know exactly what to do anyway. I remember during initial setup I saw something regarding audio settings but dont remember exactly waht. Why cant I get the audio to come through using the extra audio cable, and why does it not record the sound when the speakers are plugged directly into the audio port on the tv tuner card yet when viewing live tv I get audio. I am totally lost.

You need to make sure the "Line In" option is ticked in your sound card settings.
Here is the user manual for your card...

the line in box is checked in my sound card settings, it still isnt working, may i have to connect the internal wire to somewhere on the motherboard or what not.

Excellent info here: http://www.digitalfaq.com/guides/video/capture-sound-settings.htm
Basically, might not necessarily be "Line In", try others, make sure about muting. I have best results with an internal 4pin shielded audio cable between capture card and, if they support the option, the sound card or motherboard sound header.
