    Hi Guys! I wasn't sure where to post this, so I chose Newbie. Anyways, I am fairly new to the whole HD Concept. I was wondering is there a way to get the VC-1 Codec, and what is it exactly, should I use it or stick to another format? Will VC-1 work on my X-Box 360 and P3? Thanks for your time and help!

    Windows Media Encoder and WMP11 should be enough for VC-1 encoding. The Xbox360 supports it, but I am not sure if the PS3 does. AVC is probably the more universal choice at this time.

    I dont think the PS3 will decode WMA Pro audio so dont use that when creating your files.
