It looks like you are trying to convert to flv. What tool(s) are you trying to use? Does the original file play ok?

This is most likely a tool/conversion issue...but we need more info.

FLV playback stutter

The playback stutter seems to be related to ffmpeg's stream mapping.
For conversions without inverted mapping, the output is as smooth as the set framerate allows,
but whenever the mapping is inverted, you'll see the stuttering like it is only doing 2 frames per second.

The same thing happens in ffmpegX GUI as in the Terminal with the ffmpeg from inside the package.
Looks to me like a bug in the ffmpeg binary.
No idea why this behavior only shows with output to FLV.

Hi Case,
I'm having the same problem with flv playback stutter. Forgive my ignorance, but is there a setting that needs to be changed in order to add "inverted mapping?" Or, should I be using another program to convert from .mov to .flv?

Sort of. You can reverse the stream order with QuickTime Pro to make the source file acceptable for ffmpegX without inverting the mapping.

I've asked the developer to look into it, so hopefully this is a temporary hack.
