I'm in need of some expert advice on video conversion. I have some video that has been stored in a "progressive scan" format in a MPEG-4 AVI file. The problem is that the person who created the file de-interlaced the fields in the wrong order, so there is a tremendous amount of "tearing" in any motion in the video. Is there an easy way of correcting to filed order.
I use Ubuntu Linux and AVIDemux on my main machine, so if there is a solution for that platform that would be easiest for me. But, I have a Windows XP laptop and can install any tools necessary on there.
Thanks.
Brian
