  2. Nope, that isn't releated to ASPI, maybe to XP, but defenetly not ASPI problem, which version of TMPGEnc are you using ? and was TMPGEnc giving you any problems opening the WAV or D2V ? can you play the WAV on it's own ?

  3. Hi,
I have simular problem. Trying to copy "The Green Mile" everything looks good but when I try to test the audio file w/TMPGEnc it says file corrupted or wrong format. The vidio part seems fine , but no audio. I think the problem is with Smartripper or DVD2avi. Must be Tom Hanks movies, had a hell of a time with "Castaway" also. Funny thing, it shows the audio file as 2.2gig but nothing seems to be there. I tried this on 2 machines w/same results. .... harrymj3

  5. Well, I don't know if anyone ever tried it, but, you could try encoding the D2V on it's own to create a MPV (M1V) file, and then encode the Audio into MP2 on it's own as well, and then just mutliplex the two files.

  6. OK Guys, tell you what I did. I was getting no sound from "The Green Mile".Tried it in 4 machines with Cladmec, Clad2.0 and smartripper. No sound. So finally by watching DV2AVI I saw the audio stop and start again in the middle of the movie. I reripped w/CLAD 2.0 had 8 vob's, noticed 1,2,3,5,6,7 are very large and 4 and 8 are small. So I encoded the first 4 vob w/DVD2AVI into one file and the last 4 vob into another file.
Then I ran the two new files thru TMPGEenc seperately using SeVCD with the sound at 96k. The first half is 99 min 836mb. The second half is 94 min 776mb. Used a 90 min cd for first half and 80 min cd for second half. Used VCDeasy 1.05 to burn. How about that, a 3 hr 8 min movie on 2 cd's. Plays nice on my Pioneer 603 and it even has good sound. Have fun! .......... Harrymj3

Thank's Sefy for the help and the great templates.
