I have had my HDTV for over a year now and I turned my xbox on a few days ago and it just displayed a solid pink screen. My Ps3 connected through the Hdmi is just fine. But anytime I connect anyting to my component inputs. I get the pink screen i was wondering if there is anyway to fix this. Sometimes the screen goes pink from the Hdmi too but it goes away. I really got good picture though my component too.

    This is my setup.
    Hdtv (Westinghouse)
    Xbox 360 though component ypbpr
    playstation 3 through Hdmi

Either you have a bad cable or you have the G,B,R plugs in the wrong connectors at the TV. Green carries the luminance Y signal (monochrome).

Or you haven't set Y,Pb,Pr in the XBOX menus.

No, the xbox was hooked up the whole time and working perfectly, picture was excellent. This problem only happened a few days ago. Everything was fine until a few days ago, when i turned it on and the screen was solid pink, there is sound though.

Assuming you haven't already, try connecting the PS3 using the component cables (new/different cables). If you still have a pink picture, then you will need to get the TV serviced/repaired.

  5. The fact that you say it goes pink on HDMI "Sometimes the screen goes pink from the Hdmi too but it goes away." leads me to think the TV set needs servicing.
