Alright, I downloaded a movie and then downloaded a program for Mac called "Burn" which converted the file over to a DVD file, and then I stuck in the DVD and it said it was burning... it did everything, and then when it was almost done verifying the file contents, it said it had failed because it couldn't verify the file contents..

What went wrong? Is it something I can fix? or do I have to either : find a new burning program, download a different file of the movie, or get different DVD's? I used Sony DVD's with 4.87 GB of space, and the movie was only 2.8 GB.

    Help!

some more info: when I ejected the burned DVD and put it in my computer again, it played on the DVD player in my computer, but when I put it in my DVD player that is hooked up to my TV (Hitachi, fairly new, purchased Christmas 2006) it would not work....

It could be that the DVD is in PAL format and your DVD player can't play PAL.
