Created the video using TMPGenc output to AVI with divx and was sourced from .d2v from DGindex. Audio was AC3 demux from DGIndex from the original mpeg2 stream.

Both the video and audio files play fine standalone. However, after muxing with AVIMux, the audio stop after 7 seconds. The final muxed output appears to have the complete video and audio files having a size about equal to both the divx and ac3 files put together.

Any other tools that I could try? Anyone have a suggestion as to where the audio is going?

Try mux with virtualdubmod, open video, video->direct stream copy, streams->stream list->add the ac3, file->save as avi.

AC3 might be damaged. Try running it through AC3fix or similar app and muxing the result

    Badrick,

Couldn't figure why I couldn't find the Streams List option until I went back and realized I was using VDUB instead of VDUBMod. Still got the same results but now I don't need AVIMux! Thanks...

    Soopafresh,

AC3Fix said it didn't find any bad frames but yet it fixed something since now everything works. God, 7 seconds never lasted so long as I waited to see if the newly muxed avi worked.

PS: Wasn't patient enough to get the gui to work. Added the input, set the output and "Process" never did anything. Oh, well, the command line util was even easier...
