This must be the simplest thing of all but I can't get it right. I downloaded 'Visual Studio 2008 Trial' from Microsofts website and it is an ISO file. I did as described elsewhere on this forum, started NERO, ran 'Burn image', gave it the ISO file and off I went. It burnt OK but when I look at the DVD in Explorer nothing is on the DVD - it just looks empty. There is definitely something burnt on the DVD, I can tell by looking at the back side. I have burnt DVDs before but now I'm at a loss.

Probably wrong setting in nero. I would suggest using the freeware imgburn as an alternative to nero.

Choose mode write, Choose your iso file, then burn the disc.

Is there a program out there that can burn iso images that are more than 4.7GB to a standard DVD?

Can you put 10 gallons of water in a 1 gallon jug 8)

what is it an ISO of ?
A standard dvd video ISO, an ISO of a PC program, ect ect. ??

If it's a dvd video you can open the ISO in Dvd Shrink & compress it to fit a standard dvdr.
