    I have used my MiniDV camera to record video and audio.

    Can I use Adobe Premiere Pro CS3 to only capture the audio?

    I doubt it.

    I use WinDV for all DV transfer. I only use Premiere to edit. I'd pull in the DV capture, then go to FILE, EXPORT and export the audio timeline.

    yes u can.when u open the capture pannel at the right top there is an option video&audio or video only or audio only
