I have tried ripping video from a DVD source with DVD Decrypter and DVD Shrink, and when I plug it into MVW, I get motion issues, slight skipping and such during high motion scenes. Is there a way I can rip the DVD source and avoid these motion issues? Thanks.

If it is from a recent commercial disc then you may need to use newer ripping tools such as DVDFab HD Decrypter or the latest AnyDVD. DVD decrypter and DVD Shrink, while still useful tools, cannot handle the protection of many discs released over the past year or more.
If it is from a non-protected source then you may need to clarify the problem more.
1. Does the skipping occur if played back using a video player (MVW is an editor, not a player) ?
2. Does the skipping occur prior to editing, or only after editing ?
3. What does 'motion issues' mean ?Read my blog here.

It is from a protected source.
1. The skipping occurs in other players
2. Prior, but I have had it happen post-edit in the past
3. Almost seems like frame skipping.
I'll try another ripper and see if that helps, thanks for the tip.
