  1. Has anyone been to this site http://www.tuuk.demon.co.uk/? It claims that they are creating a device which allows various media types to be played on the PS2. However, the site hasn't been updated in a while, so it may just be a hoax.

I have seen plenty of these hoaxes recently and this site seems to be a hoax.
What leads me to say it is a hoax is the name Da Video. I have seen a few sites proclaiming boot cds, X box emlaters and the like. They all have a few things in common.
    1) They have a naming convention of Da xxxx. (Eg. Da Video and Da Programmers which is what they called their programmers on another site)
    2) They all have many ads. Mostly porno.
    3) All of the pages are centered around possible future console related products. Like the fake xbox emulater.

Personally, I think it is a bunch of guys (or one guy) that make up these hoax web sites because they know it will generate interest and gather hits from search engines etc... Why? To make money out of all the adverts they have. Essentially it is a nothing-to-lose scam. Well placed adverts and popups galore. On their other sites you *have* to go through 5 porno ad links (which also throw up more popups) to be able to download a (fake) PS2 boot CD or whatever. This site is just a simple version of their other hoax sites.

If a Divx player for the PS2 does become available, it will be BIG news.
