  1. How many of you folks enable the "bi-procs use" option in the D-Vision preferences? Although the encoding time may significantly decrease, I'm concerned there will be a compromise in quality of the resulting file. Are my fears unfounded, or has anyone noticed enabling bi-proc results in files of a lower picture quality?

The number of processors used shouldn't effect quality.

  3. Thanks. I knew it was just my suspicion. Nevertheless, the bi-proc usage option is kinda freaky in that it starts up on the queue without my instructing, but fails to go through all the queued tasks. It would be a real time saver if it worked successfully, but finding the queued tasks only one-quarter complete each morning led me to ditch this option for the regular mono-processor option which is more reliable--atleast on my Intel Dual Core.
