    Hi,

Firstly i hope this is the correct place to post this; I have just bought WinAvi version 8.0 and have tried to convert an .AVI file to .VOB so it will play on my DVD player. I successfully converted it to .VOB and it also plays on my DVD but the sound is no longer there. When i go into the file where the converted .VOB files were placed and play them using VLC media player there is no problem and the sound is present, but when i burn them to disk (I use DeepBurner) and then place that disk into the DVD player the picture is great but there is no sound?

I had this problem before when using the free version about a year ago, and managed to solve it by checking/ unchecking a tab (s) somewhere but i cannot for the life of me remember how i solved it.

Can anyone out there give me any pointers, as any help would be most appreciated.

I'm using Win XP Pro SP2 if that helps

Please load both your source AVI and the output VOB into GSpot and take a screenshot of each. Then upload the screenshots here ( https://forum.videohelp.com/topic271697.html may help).
    If in doubt, Google it.
