Hi,
I have bunch of MPEG files (recorded with camera). I want to make them as a DVD with some 'titles' between each file, which displays description of the file which going to be played next..
How to convert 20 mpeg files into single DVD? How to add titles (not sub titles).
Is there any free software available? fast and reliable?
Thanks

Assuming these are DVD compliant, then GUIforDVDAuthor is a reliable free authoring tool. If you want simple titles then you can use menu screens that auto-activate after a time period and chain things together - e.g.
Main Menu -> Title Screen menu 1 -> Clip 1 -> Title Screen Menu 2 -> Clip 2 and so on.
It's not elegant, but it works and it saves you having to create and encode video titles.
If you do want clips then I would use gimp to create still iamges of your text, then load them with Avisynth into HCEnc to encode, then drop them in between the clips when authoring with GUIForDVDAuthor.
There is no free solution that I know of that will do this quickly for you - it is going to take some effort on your part.Read my blog here.
