I have been trying to render a 5.1 project in Vegas 7. That is 1 Mono mpa file duplicated 5 times ok. But when I play in Vegas, the audio is slowed way down to a crawl!!
What is causing this?
Is there some setting I am not aware of that I have to change to make the audio normal?
When I render the final 5.1 project and mux it with the video, again the audio is slowed way down!!
Please, any help with this is greatly appreciated as I am completely stumped.
Thanks for any help![]()

Sorry, wrong about that last part!
Tried it yet again, but final rendered AC-3 audio slowed way down to laughable and totally unusable degree! -
Have you contacted Sony support ? - it is there product after all.
Have you searched the official Vegas forums at Sony to see if this is a known problem ?
Have you updated Vegas to the latest version 7.0d ?
What did you try to play the AC3 file with ? VLC will open and play AC3 files.
In all the time I have used Vegas I have not come across this problem.Read my blog here.
