    I am using Nerovision express 3 to rip DVD's to mpg's for DVD reauthoring. At times when i rip i get files that are the incorrect size to reauthor. I am using Encore to reauthor and it won't accept files unless they are 720x480. I get files hat are 704x480 and other sizes. What can i do to rip the file as 720x480? I'd rather not recode to get the proper size.

    Switch to an authoring tool that supports all dvd-video sizes...

    You could use dvdpatcher to change the headers in video to 720x480 and then author and before you burn change back the vobs to 704x480.
