  1. I am new here and wanted to know if anyone could help me covert a .iso video file into a normal media file like WMV or MPG? I've looked everywhere and can't find anything that converts this file type.

Welcome to VideoHelp! Basic rules of conduct:
Don't hijack topics - start your own for a new question (even if it's related to the original)
Read (at least) the stickies before posting a question. Even better - use the search feature.
The answer to this q is in one of the stickies in the newbie/general forum.
In general: Mount it with daemon tools. Take a look what's in the ISO. ISO is just a "container" (a disk image really) and can contain any type of files. Or just burn it to CD-R or DVD-R.
Asking how to convert an ISO into a media file, is like asking how to convert a bucket into some kind of alcoholic beverage.

    Maybe he was born yesterday

That may sound kind of harsh ... but just because he knows the word ... iso ... doesn't mean he has any more info to use.

He may actually not know anything to help him find the method needed.

I did a quick search here ... with the ... iso ... as the word to search and to a beginner it could look like greek.

As for myself ... I use Isobuster 1.7 ... to open a ISO file.

If you don't like mounting images, you can unpack ISO with WinRAR.
