Hi guys!
I was wondering how I could adjust my screen resolution so I can make it smaller.
Does anyone know what I need to do?! Any help would be great!
- Oh, I almost forgot, I uploaded a Word file with a pic of my display properties in it for you
- Also, I have a Dell Inspiron 600m

Thanks!

Can you download the manual to your computer and actually read it.
I put a link to it in that other post you made.
That manual should have the answers to all your questions.

P.S.
No one worth his/her salt is gonna open a DOC file from an unknown source. Could be a virus. If you want to upload a picture then read this: CLICK HERE"The eyes are the first thing that you have to destroy ... because they have seen too many bad things" - Lucio Fulci

Hi guys.
But my problem is the highest my screen rez says it can go is 1024 x 768.
Can I put a new video card in a laptop. I know this may sound stupid, but I really don't know!
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks

Can I put a new video card in a laptop.
If you go to your Display>Settings>Advanced>Adapter>List All Modes, that's all the selections available for your card. But your laptop display will work best at it's native resolution, which is probably 1024 X 768. Any other size won't look good. However, you can click on your 'Monitor' tab and uncheck 'Hide modes that this monitor cannot display' and you should see some other resolutions. That doesn't mean you can display them, though. And read the cautions below that checkbox.
I think the real question is: Why do you need to make it smaller? -
Hi guys! Thanks for all the posts...and yes, I'm not reading the Manual like it's the last newspaper on earth.
redwudz...you hit the nail on the head I think...I followed your instructions to a tee and I could not get past 1024x768...however, I could "see" more options following your detailed post.
Anyway, thought I'd give it a chance...thanks very much...and be sure I'll be back!
Thanks guys!
