I have a .avi that I want burned onto a DVD. The file is perfect. Nothing wrong, no audio or video problems. All the way through. I opened Toast Titanium 7.1 and went to burn it. Everything went fine. Finished product, horrible audio sync problems.
So I decided to use iDVD instead. Made my project, and instead of wasting another DVD, I just made a disc image, mounted the image and the same thing happened, horrible sync issues, but different spots, not the same problems.

What can I do? Should I re-encode it with ffmpegX and use that? And hope it works? Extract the audio and re add it?

Is there a avi fixer for Mac that anyone knows about?

The .avi file is fine, but something in it is screwing up my audio once burned.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    thanks,

  2. D-Vision is great for fixing avi files, i would then suggest getting mpeg2works to convert them for a dvd...
