  1. I am wondering what I could use to record everything I do on my PC. Like where I could click record on some program and then it automatically starts recording the things I do on my PC. The programs I open and the things I click on.

I'm trying to make a little demo DVD and at the beginning of the demo have it showing the menus of the DVD and the navigation progress and the things I click on.

Basically doing the same thing as capturing from a TV to PC except just recording what i'm doing on my PC onto the same PC.

I would rather be able to capture from TV to PC, but I know I would have to buy a capture card and set up all the crap, which I know nothing about and am short on $$$.

That probably makes no sense, knows how to start me on the right track it would be appreciated.

    BTW,

    Thanks!

Try a program called Fraps, I think it will do exactly what you are after.

    *edit: fraps not frapps

  6. Can SnagIt record videos being played in a player on your desktop? I saw someone say it could record videos, but wasn't sure. Cause CamStudio would be great but it won't record videos that I play on my desktop, which is what I need. Also, can snagit record into .avi format or any other video format besides a sequential image display?

I'm trying to record the motions of going through a DVD menu I have created...

    Thanks

  7. ^Turn off Video Acceleration in WMP before recording.

  8. Nevermind, I finally got it to record just like I wanted but the quality is poor. There are lots of distorted blocks showing up, and a lot of video noise. I don't guess there is a way to make a menu demo without a capture card.

    Thanks for all the help!
