Hi, I'm using above v.2.00 to capture screen activity in .swf format. Mouse movements leave a trail behind, like boxes and shadows. I've tried different capture sizes and resolutions with no change. Can anybody help me here please?

  2. Did you try higher capture fps?

I've found that the swf it produces is significantly lower in quality than say recording lossless then encoding to flash (h.264/aac)

    I tried following settings....
Set Key Frames every 40 frames (typing manually)
Capture Frames every 50 millseconds (typing manually)
Playback Rate 40 frames/second (typing manually)

    Made absolutely no difference

Have you tried the 2.5.b1 version. It's available in the CamStudio tools link.

Downloaded 2.5.b1 and problem solved. Strange thing though....no .html help files from recorder, player etc. I've enquired in CamStudio forum. Thanks for the help.
