  1. Ok, I made a DVD 3 times and when playing it on my computer it looks and sounds great. When I play it on a stand alone DVD player 3/4 of the screen has all of the video with 1/4 of the screen showing a mirror effect of the first 1/4 of the 3/4 of screen. Got it? Now when I went to make a copy of this DVD with CloneDVD, CloneDVD pops up a screen that states "Trying to repair defective DVD structure Please wait! First I used CopytoDVD 4 from VSO software to burn the folders from the created SVCD2DVD folders next time I tried having it use ImgBurn 2.1.0.0 and have the program SVCD2DVD burn it. Both times I got the same result putting it into a stand alone DVD player. The third time I went messing with the settings and burned another one with ImgBurn and I still have the same problem.

    Thank You,

What was the source file type? SVCD? What is your DVD player?

  7. Redoing capture from box from scratch and doing over at a later time.

    Thanks for the information.

  8. I think that I have found my problem.
The beginning of the first file was in 2 channel audio (Recap of previous season) while the rest of the file was in 5 channel audio (The actual episode). Cut out the 2 channel audio part (with VideoRedo Pro) and just kept the 5 channel audio part to make my DVD. The other 5 files (episodes) were also in 5 channel audio. Now ConvertXtoDVD works, SVCD2DVD works and TMPGEnc DVD Author works without a hickup. Found this information with AVIcodec.

    Excellent!
