    i just got WinXP, and premiere (i have version 5.1c) crashes when i put a DivX clip in the timeline. this happening to anyone else?

    I've a similar issue manipulating segments of a DivX AVI into the Premiére 6 timeline... sometimes it crashes reporting a problem in a DivX-related DLL (I don't remember which).
    Since this problem happens with DivX compressed AVIs only, I think there's a subtle incompatibility between Premiére and that compression algorithm.
