HeXen: Edge Of Chaos - A total modification for Doom3

I've become interested again in mods for the games I have on my computer.

Back in the old days ... I really enjoyed playing Doom 2 and Hexen and Heretic II.

I wish Hexen II ... could have better graphics.

I found out a mod is being created for Hexen ... using the Doom 3 engine.

I really hope some of you can visit these websites and show support and encourage the developers to continue with the completion of this mod for Doom 3 of Hexen. It is at 80 percent finished.

I want a new version of Rise of the Triad. That came was crazy.

I actually did get what I always wanted regarding old PC games: a PC port and complete revamp of the Marathon series. I can be happy again for a while.

I want Freespace II, I want to fly a space ship once again and fly through space portals.

Also, I want to find out who the hell are the shivans.

I quite enjoyed Freelancer (and now EVE Online) for space sims/shooters. Freelancer was like an open space version of Freespace but was far more fun when played with some of the mods available for it. EVE is far more complicated and certainly not a casual gaming experience, and you can't manually control your ship like you can in Freespace or Freelancer.

Have you checked out the Doomsday Engine. It will revive the graphics for Doom II ... Heretic I ... and Hexen I.

Lots of enhanced textures are for Doom 2 and Heretic and Hexen.

And for Quake fans ... there are quite a few rebuilds.

One of them is called ... Qrack ... graphics have been re-enhanced ... but not as good as Quake 4.
