  1. I am making DVD larger than 4.7 GB (approx 5.46 GB according to DVD Lab) but this authoring tool won't to the job!

When I start "compiling", it make approx. up to 4.7GB and stop like it is finished - with "Done" message and red percentage marker less below finishing point!?

Of course, VIDEO_TS is not playable and not complete with unfinished IFO files and not all VOBs and even temp folder for compiling is filled with partially made VOBs...

I have enough disk space, it works fine with video up to 4.7GB but anything larger stops at that point.

Version I use is Pro 1.53 build 050530

I've never used DVDLab Pro, but try creating project as a DL disk, then run the final product through DVD Shrink.

did you change the project from the default dvd5 to dvd9? bottom right of the screen there is an arrow next to dvd5, if you click it, then it will say dvd9. you should also get the updates to v1.6

  4. Hi

On the DVDLab pro last line to the far right you will find dropdown box
showing dvd5. Change this to DVD 9 for projects larger than 4.7GB.
I have made many DL DVD's with DVDLab Pro without any problems.

    Best Regards

I did that but this is not the point - problem was in one MPG file which is obviously problematic for DVDLab inspite fact it didnt' report any errors!?
When I removed it, it finished fine...

Did you demux the mpeg when prompted ? (mpg leads me to assume program stream, not elementary stream)

How did you create the mpg in the first place ? What program did you use to encode it ? Ditto for the audio.

Yes. DVDLab demuxed it without problem.
