Got DIKO Free 2.23, installed it. NONE of the screens match what's in the included help file, OR any of the guides available on the net! The guides say add AVI file, then also pick the SRT that go with it. Except there is NO SUCH field in 2.23!
Uninstalled 2.23 and installed Free 2.12 instead. Now I see the right fields and such. Added the AVI, added the SRT, hit process, went to sleep.
Next morning, program's stuck on DVDStyler screen, even though I had already composed a menu previously, but it won't load that either. Fine, load the pic, drew the button, saved it AGAIN. Exit.
DIKO took over, then errored out about not finding the MOVIE.ISO file. Surely enough, it's not there. Then it tried to open DVDDecrypter to burn it, but as there's no file, that errored out too.
I looked at the log. All the MPG / D2V / etc. files are there. However, the mkisosf didn't generate anything when it should have... Because there's nothing in the subdirectory called AUTHOR. I changed the parameter a little, reran the command from command prompt, and after 10 minutes and it generated an ISO file as requested. The problem is... It's TOO BIG... at about 4.95 GB, instead of 4.5 GB. And not even DVDDecrypter, much less Nero, will burn it to DVD+Rs.
Where did I go wrong? Or is DIKO messing up on me? If it is, what should I use? (To turn an AVI into a semi-pro looking DVD with a menu and switchable DVD sub)
